Over the years, Frédéric Gaufichon has developed an original recital where he expresses himself through both lyrical singing and guitar, interpreting melodies in various languages, often drawn from famous poems. This performance is a fusion of the remarkable writing by authors such as Victor Hugo, Armand Sylvestre, Romain Bussine, Einrich Heine, Schober, Carmelo Errico, and the musical compositions of composers like Gabriel Fauré, Schumann, Schubert, Tosti, among others. The whole experience is punctuated with inspiring improvisations.
The common thread in these works lies in the introspective journey of the narrator and/or the audience; a journey that shifts from dreams to unfulfilled desires, from the overwhelming curiosity of some individuals to the memory of a lost being. The entirety is marked by a call for inner peace, juxtaposed with the universal longing for peace that everyone seeks today.
